Ballet and Say

Sadie started ballet and after three painful classes she begged us not to go anymore. She really, really hated it so she is done. She looked sooo cute in her leotard, and she has got the moves. But ballet is not for my girl.

Happy Birthday to Me!

I celebrated a super fantastic birthday this year. We went to dinner at Kyoto and Betsy drew a fabulous picture of it. We also celebrated at Jama and Pa's. I am a lucky 37 year old girl!

August Pics

Here is a random assortment of pics taken in August. My computer is acting crazy, and I can't get the captions to match up with the photos. So here are some brief descriptions:

--Playdate with Eleanor at Boo Koo Bounce
--Breakfast at Tartine
--My only pic from our August beach vacay. At that time I was camera-less. :(
--Sadie and Lawson

Cousins Beach Trip

We spent a fun-filled long weekend with a bunch of cousins. The girls had a blast with the "big girl" cousins and Attie and I had a blast catching up with Hydie and Cab. We ate big meals, drank lots of slush, and talked for hours. Great trip!!!

Beau Rivage

Last month we took an impromptu trip to Beau Rivage. Attie, Katie, and I had taken Marme for Mother's Day and we each had 2 free nights and a bunch of free buffets. Since we were going to the beach we decided to spend a few days in Biloxi. The boys met us for one night and we had dinner together. It was a great spot for the kids--we swam, hung out at the coffee shop, visited The Lynn Meadows Discovery Center (a super fantastic children's museum), the girls enjoyed virgin pina coladas by the pool, and they loved taking baths in the huge tub. The girls and I slept in a king size bed, and they thought that was super cool. The kids were also amazed by the buffet--they ate pizza, roast beef, and mac and cheese for supper and had ice cream sundaes for dessert. It was a great mini trip before our beach trip!
