And Even More Christmas Fun

Yesterday was Sadie's school's Christmas Luncheon. Peter, Betsy, and I went and we had a yummy lunch. The girls were a little wild, and they didn't want to eat since there were so many toys to play with all around them. After the luncheon I took the girls to Starbucks for milk and a cookie. They were adorable, and so sweet. We all came back here and took naps then off to Jama and Pa's for dinner. We've had a very full, and very wonderful week.

Cookie Decorating Party

We had our annual cookie decorating party on Monday afternoon. The girls were way more into eating the icing and sprinkles than actually decorating the cookies. But they had a blast! A big thank you to Attie for making the cookies and the icing--merci, sister! Here are some pics:

Teddy Bear Tea

On Monday we went to the Teddy Bear Tea at The Roosevelt Hotel with Momma Lady, Bridget, Charlie, and Patrick. The room looked amazing, and the girls were so excited to see Santa, Mrs. Claus, Rudolph, Frosty, and a Toy Soldier. The kids ate yummy treats and had their picture taken with Santa--and Sadie didn't cry! It was a memorable day for the girls and their cousins.

Christmas Fun

The other day Betsy said to Sadie, "Wen you were in Momma's tummy I needed you. I needed my baby sister" then she hugged her. I got a little choked up. I also gave Betsy some corn the other day and she said, "No, Momma, I want it on the bone!" (aka the cob).

We're getting ready for Christmas. I am off this week, and it's been so great. I am having so much fun with my girls! Krista, Lauren, and Ryan came over this morning to play. Sadie was a little angel and sat in Krista's lap and watched the kids play. The girls dressed up like princesses, and Ryan did some cooking in the kitchen.

Tomorrow we are going to Vacherie then to Marme's and Jama and Pa's on Christmas Day. Merry Christmas!
