Roundup

We had a busy week, but it was full of fun stuff. On Monday Attie and I walked in the Park then took the babies to Music at the Parenting Center; Sadie and Lawson both loved it. We went to Marme's for dinner on Monday night. We're trying to get together with Marme, the sisters, and Lawson on Monday nights. It's so much fun to visit and eat together. On Tuesday we met Krista and the kids at the Zoo. The weather has been so nice, and it was a perfect Zoo day. B went to Jama and Pa's on Tuesday night for dinner. On Wednesday Attie and I walked again and Tara came with us. On Thursday Attie and I took the girls to J.C. Penney's to have their pictures taken. They came out REALLY cute! We walked around the mall a bit and B rode the Halloween train. After all of our adventures B slept late and we missed playgroup for the second week in a row. We're going to make it this week for sure. On Friday morning Sam watched the babies and Attie and I went to Target. Friday night was Boo at the Zoo. Betsy was a precious ballerina and Sadie and Lawson were adorable strawberries. Attie and Katie made the babies' costumes; they are so good! Betsy was mesmerized by all of the costumes and decorations and was so excited about trick or treating. The weekend weather was amazing. On Saturday we went to the Arts Market and walked around and P had a pulled pork sandwich and I ate a Nutella crepe--yum! I met Katie A. for lunch; Baby Jonah is due in a couple of weeks. I'm so excited! Katie looks great and is ready to meet her baby boy. This morning we met the Carvilles at PJ's. We ran into the Vaicius clan and B was thrilled to see Lucy. P and I spent the rest of the day doing house stuff and playing with Sadie while B was at a pumpkin carving party with Katie and Peter.

I'm trying to cook more. This week I made black beans and rice, vegetable soup, and roasted veggies. Don't feel bad for Peter; he cooked some meat on the side when he got home. This week I'm attempting to make smothered pork chops (yikes) and baked ziti. I'm trying to break out of our dinner rut.

Last week Sadie rolled from her back to her tummy then back to her back.

B says, "I'll be right back" anytime she leaves the room.

We have a exciting week ahead full of Halloween festivities. Happy Halloween!
