Dadadada

Happy Birthday, Grandpa! And Happy Anniversary, Bridget and Brian!

Sadie is now saying Dada, and is nearly crawling. She is scooting and rolling around like crazy.

On New Year's Eve during the day Attie and Lawsy came over to play. That night the Carvilles came over for tacos and the LSU game. We were pleasantly surprised by LSU's performance! On New Year's Day we started taking down the tree and de-Christmasing the house. This weekend was laid back. Both girls have colds (again), and B spent Friday day and night in Vacherie and came home yesterday. She had a blast--they went to the movie, to the park, and ordered pizza. She also got to hang out with her cousin Charlie. Attie and Lawsy came over on Friday and Peter and I ordered sushi Friday night. This evening we went to Bee's to exchange gifts with Bee and Dad. We have seen them several times since Christmas, but this was our first opportunity to exchange. Bee provided yummy snacks and we listened to Christmas music and pretended it was Christmas. Sadie ate some french bread and a bit of cheese. She's now eating oatmeal and fruit for breakfast, a veg and a fruit for lunch, and rice cereal and a veg for supper. I'm still nursing her. I nursed B till she was 9.5 months. Not sure how much longer I'm going to do it. I'm starting to introduce table foods slowly; she'll be 8 months old on the 6th.

If sometimes it seems like I give waaaay too much info on this blog, it's because I haven't kept up baby books for the girls because I put everything on the blog. One day I'll write everything down, but until then it's all here.

B is in bed, and Sadie is rolling around saying Dada and Mama.
