My girls love to help me cook. Whenever they see me start to fix dinner they run into the kitchen and insist on cooking, which usually means stirring whatever I'm cooking. It's very cute and very sweet. On this night I let the girls make garlic bread all by themselves--they spread the butter and minced garlic on the bread then sprinkled on the parsley. They were so proud of themselves. Betsy was very excited about her "Snooie bread"--this is what they call the cheese and tomato on muffaletta bread at New York Pizza. The only thing in common between our bread and their bread is the parsley, but B calls it Snooie bread anyway, and she eats it up. Maybe I should start putting parsley on everything.
