We have been really busy lately. Last weekend we went to the French Quarter Festival. P and S split some pork cheeks and dirty rice while B and I ate a snowball. Last Saturday night we went to Superior with the Carvilles, Katie, and Peter A. The babies surely do love their shredded cheddar and tortillas--just like their mommas. Last Sunday we celebrated Mary Beth's birthday in Vacherie. Charlie, Patrick, and Betsy swam in the baby pool and played in the sprinkler. We have been doing lots of walking, PJ's drinking, and Whole Foods shopping with the Carville girls. On Friday night we went to eat at Houston's--P and B ate ribs. The girls were so good. Saturday was a day full of fun--Farmer's Market (got a big bunch of beets, local honey, and a fresh fruit pop for B) then PJ's with the Carvilles then the Children's Museum (the babies played hard)then later we ate at Hana because B wanted squid salad then to the Park to play then we walked to Hansen's. Sadie had her first snowball and she loved it! She has adopted Lawson's "uh, uhhhhh!!" when she wants something and she wanted lots of snowball.
I have to get Betsy on video with her latest thing--she makes this little puzzled face and says, "WHAT?!" I overheard Betsy tell Sadie, "Let's have a little talk." That's what I tell her when she is in trouble! B told me today to touch her baby doll's foot--not her face or hands. Wonder where she got that from...
I think we are getting the sleep situation under control. The beginning of last week was a disaster--both girls up a lot during the night. We are getting back to tough love and letting them cry. So far, so good.
I have a video of B singing 'Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star'--I'm going to try to post it.
