Betsy:
--She likes to ask about things "in the city." She asks me if there are any mayors, monsters, or ghosts in the city? She'll tell me that we don't have certain things "in the city."
--We put her in time out the other day and she said, "Fine, I'm moving out of here!"
--She said something and I told her that I thought she meant something else, so she said, "Silly me!" Then she said, "What does that mean, Mommy?"
--Last night she had swimming lessons and the instructor dunked her. She told, "I thought it would be really scary, but it was fun!" That's a big surprise to me.
--B likes to get out of her bed after about a half hour when Sadie has fallen asleep and come in the living room and ask me very pressing things. Example--"I know you love me (with hands up in a reassuring manner), but you didn't sing me a song, Mommy. Why?" Example 2--"What if Sadie and I become mommies? Then there will be too many mommies in the house." She likes to find excuses to get out of her bed.
--B asks me questions about Jama a lot. She asks me why she had to leave. She asks when Jesus will make her all better so she can go back to her house. She tells me that she wants Jama to come back. She asks me how Jama got to heaven and about souls. She misses her Jama, and so do I.
Sadie:
--Her speech has gotten much better since her tubes.
--I pway wit my cousin!!! (Lawson). The cutest thing on earth is when B, S, and Lawson see each other. They squeal and say each other's names then run up to each other and give huge hugs. They do it regardless of whether they have seen each other the day before or an hour before. The other night they bathed together at our house and we separated just for the ride to Jama and Pa's house. When we arrived about 20 minutes later they hugged and screamed as if they hadn't seen each in ages.
--"Baby Penny" in a loud voice and repeated about 50 times whenever she sees Penny.
--When we tell her it's time to get out of the tub or go to bed, she screams, "2 minutes!!!!!!!!!"
--When we try to help her put on her shoes or walk her down the stairs she says, "I do it mydelf!"
--If Betsy is having a meltdown Sadie loves to say, "I not crying, Mommy!" Then she follows it up with "Betsy is a big baby!"
