Yesterday was our six year anniversary. Peter brought the girls to Vacherie after an amazing photo shoot with Katie's wedding photographer, Elizabeth Ray. She sent me a sneak peak of the photos and they are awesome and she is super sweet and cute. I highly recommend her! The girls have spent the weekend playing with Momma Lady, Grandpa, and Maggie. They have also gone to see 'Toy Story 3,' been swimming, and have had picnics. The girls are going to be in Vacherie until next Saturday. I know they will have an absolute blast.
Peter and I spent the weekend at Beau Rivage. We had the perfect weekend of relaxing, eating, and drinking fancy drinks (well, mine were fancy and Peter's were manly). We made lots of stops on the way home to do some shopping--thanks, P! We got home a few hours ago and the house seems really empty and quiet. I didn't think I would miss my girls already. I got a little choked up while I was changing the sheets on their bed. Yes, I know I'm being silly. We just walked down to Le Bon Temps--one of my favorite bars--and we realized that even though it's only 2 blocks away it was maybe the second time we had ever been there together. Now P is eating pork chops and I'm about to get ready for bed. How will I make it through this week without my girls? I'm envisioning naps after work, raquetball with P, movies, and other things to fill up our time. I didn't realize how much time you have when you're not tending to a 2 year old and a 3 year old.
PS B has a precious, big girl bob. I will post pics soon.
